My Story:
This writing is the product of a human mind. The product of a lifelong passion sparked in the 4th grade by a teacher who loved my short story about a boy caught in a terrible storm. A spark ignited further when I received my B.A. in English from Georgia State University. A spark transformed into a passion that’s blazed ever since. That led me to editorial roles at the CDC and the American Cancer Society before I forged ahead to write magnetic marketing content for fast-growing startups and industry titans alike.
Ebooks. Emails. News stories. Banner ads. Social posts. Video scripts. Name it and I can write it.
Outside of work, my short stories have been recognized by national literary journals. I don’t need a prompt to start writing. I write because I absolutely love it. And I want to bring that passion to your project.
My Approach:
Good writing requires qualities only people have. I believe it all starts with:
Honesty-Your audience knows. They know if you’re biased. They know if you’re not authentic. Be honest or beware.
Empathy-Unless you’re selling to robots, don’t write like one. Good writing can’t start until you know your audience.
Brevity-By the time you reach the end of this sentence, they’re already bored. Effective writers cut the fat.
Depth-Be brief, but not shallow. Your content should be well-researched and accurate.
